In mid-July, information will be sent to the homes of those eligible for FY2025 complete checkups, family health examinations, and individual cancer screenings (gynecology). Health examinations for which the Health Insurance Society provides information are optional examinations available to those who want them. They differ from periodic health examinations provided by employers. Contact your employer’s contact point for periodic health examinations with any inquiries about such examinations.
Complete checkups (for insured persons and dependents aged 40 and older)
Eligible persons
Those meeting both conditions ① and ② below
① Those who were members of the Recruit Health Insurance Society as of April 1, 2025 and remained members continuously through the date of the checkup
* If you were not a member at any time during FY2025, even if for just one day, you are not eligible for this checkup because you fail to meet the requirement for continuous enrollment.
* If you are not a member of the Health Insurance Society on the date of a checkup (including the date that eligibility is lost), you will not be eligible for the checkup.
② Those 40 and older as of March 31, 2026
* Those turning 75 during FY2025 are eligible to undergo the checkup through the day before their birthday.

Examination costs
Pay the copayment of 10,000 yen at the hospital counter.
(20,000 yen at some examining institutions)
The Health Insurance Society will subsidize the remaining amount (40,000 yen on average).
