Health checkups
Information will be sent in mid-July to the home addresses of those eligible for FY2023 complete checkups, family health examinations, and individual cancer screenings (gynecology).
Health examinations for which the Health Insurance Society provides information are optional examinations available to those who want them. They differ from periodic health examinations provided by employers. Contact your employer’s contact point for periodic health examinations with any inquiries about such examinations.
Notes on undergoing a complete checkup or other exam during the COVID-19 pandemic
- Complete checkups (for insured persons and dependents aged 40 and older)
- Family health examinations (dependents and Voluntarily and Continuously Insured Persons aged 19 and older)
- Individual cancer screenings [gynecology] (currently employed insured persons aged 19 and older)
- Dental examinations (All members)

Examination costs | Pay the copayment of 10,000 yen at the hospital counter.
